On Thursday, January 5, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov went on his first foreign visit in the new year to the People's Republic of China.
The main talks between the leaders of the two countries will begin on January 6.
The high-level business meeting is expected to give a powerful impetus to the expansion of cooperation. As a result of the meetings, it is planned to sign a number of important documents.
Currently, between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China, there is a "Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership Relations", signed in the fall of 2013.
