Russia will discuss with Turkmenistan the construction of a highway bypassing the Caspian Sea
At the forum "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanForum", which will be held on May 18, Russia intends to discuss with Turkmenistan, as well as with Kazakhstan, the construction of a highway bypassing the Caspian Sea, RIA Novosti reports, citing the words of Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
"At KazanForum, my colleagues from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are definitely planning to discuss the construction of a highway bypassing the Caspian Sea, perhaps we will sign an agreement," Khusnullin said.
The construction of a highway along the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea is a joint project that is planned to be implemented following the results of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin's working trip to Turkmenistan.
