Turkmenistan and Tajikistan will cooperate on the development of international transport
Turkmen-Tajik high-level talks were held in Dushanbe on May 10, during which Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Emomali Rahmon paid special attention to expanding cooperation in the economic field.
Energy, industry, transport, communications and agriculture were named among the priorities here.
Following the talks, a package of bilateral documents was signed designed to give impetus to the expansion of cooperation between the two states in key areas.
Among the signed documents is a memorandum between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Agency "Turkmenawtoulaglary" of the Agency for
Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on the development of international transport.
In total, 23 cooperation documents have been signed between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
