A complex of 3D geophysical equipment will be installed in Turkmenistan

During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov reported on significant steps being taken to discover and develop territories rich in hydrocarbon resources, TDH reports.

One of the key moments was the acquisition by the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” of a complex of 3D geophysical equipment with digital control, capable of operating in various conditions.

New equipment will allow Turkmen geologists to more accurately identify areas rich in hydrocarbons and obtain detailed data. In this regard, a proposal to further strengthen the material and technical base of the industry was submitted for consideration by the head of state.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, summarizing the report, emphasized the need to continue to provide the industry with specialized equipment to increase the pace of work to identify underground storehouses and increase the hydrocarbon resource base. Having approved the proposal to introduce new equipment, the head of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take appropriate measures to implement these plans.
