Turkmenistan highly appreciates Germany's environmental policy
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed high appreciation for Germany's environmental policy during his speech at the second Central Asia-Germany summit in Astana. This was reported by the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The head of state emphasized the importance of cooperation with Germany on environmental and climate issues, noting the German government’s commitment to interaction with the countries of the region.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov especially noted the active role of Germany in promoting environmental projects and programs in Central Asia. He recalled the importance of the high-level conference “Green Central Asia” held in Berlin in 2020, where joint practical steps were outlined to implement environmental measures.
The President of Turkmenistan called for continued dialogue on “green” topics, emphasizing the importance of further cooperation in the field of ecology and climate between the countries of Central Asia and Germany.
