An exhibition of economic achievements dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan opened in Ashgabat
The annual exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence, began work in Ashgabat. A large-scale forum, organized by the Trade and Industry Center, was held next to the "Garagum" hotel complex.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in his welcoming address, emphasized that the exposition clearly demonstrates the successes of the national economy and the dynamics of the country's growth over the years of sovereign development. The head of state noted that the main goal of state policy is to achieve sustainable development of the national economy, expand market reforms and improve the standard of living of the population.
The exhibition features industry expositions reflecting the process of modernization and diversification of all sectors of the national economy. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of long-term programs, rational use of natural resources, expansion of import-substituting and export-oriented production, as well as the introduction of innovations and digital technologies.
The opening ceremony was attended by members of the Government, leaders of the Mejlis, representatives of ministries and departments, diplomatic missions and international organizations, as well as the country’s business circles and the media.
The exhibition will last until September 21, providing visitors with the opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of Turkmenistan in various spheres of the economy.
