Tesla Semi electric trucks demonstrate excellent results

Tesla Semi electric trucks show impressive results. One of these trucks has already covered a distance of 250 000 miles (402 336 km). The entire Tesla Semi fleet, consisting of about 100 trucks and actively used both within the company and by partner PepsiCo, has totaled more than 7,5 million miles (12 070 080 km), Ferra.ru reports.

Additionally, the Tesla Semi exceeded energy efficiency expectations, consuming just 1,6 kWh per mile, lower than initial projections of 1,7 kWh. The trucks' outstanding reliability, with 95 percent uptime, ensures they are ready for commercial use.

Tesla plans to scale production of the Semi at a new plant in Nevada next year, and by 2026 to reach production volume of 50 000 trucks annually.
