Ashgabat to host conference "International transport and transit corridors: interconnection and development"
From May 3 to 4, Ashgabat will host the second International Conference "International transport and transit corridors: interconnection and development". Within it's framework, an exhibition on this topic will be organized.
The forum is aimed at considering issues of adaptation to new conditions in the international transport and logistics system during the post-pandemic recovery period, the development of effective international transport and transit corridors, as well as strengthening international cooperation between government agencies and large logistics companies of Turkmenistan and international organizations specializing in transport and logistics systems.
The forum is organized by the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan together with its subordinate institutions.
The main topics of the international forum will be:
- Global Challenges and Opportunities: Prospects for Increasing Trade through Logistics;
- Transport and logistics interconnectedness in the global economy;
- Digitalization in trade and logistics. Modern trends in postal items;
- Trade and industry: development and cooperation;
- The role of public-private partnership in the development of connectivity of transport and logistics infrastructure;
- The role of science and education in the development of digital trade and logistics: training for the future development of the economy.
