Representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency visited the international seaport of Turkmenbashy

A delegation from Japan, consisting of representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, visited the international seaport of Turkmenbashy. The guests got acquainted with the structure of the port and the services provided.

Guests were also told about the advantages of the «customs storage» regime for transit cargo, which provides for the storage of various cargo and goods in the port territory without paying customs duties and clearance for up to 3 years. This mode is attractive to many clients, as it significantly reduces the time and costs of processing customs documentation and transporting goods.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency is a non-profit agency established in 1974 to support the development of other countries through technical cooperation and exchange of experience.
