I sincerely congratulate you on the 16th anniversary of the creation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, widely celebrated in the year “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” as well as on the start of the exhibition and conference of members of the Union dedicated to this date!
In the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan is doing a lot of work to achieve the high goals of our time and implement state development programs. The significant growth over the past 16 years in the number of members of the Union, the success of private initiatives, and the expansion of the scope of activity of entrepreneurs are significant achievements of state policy in this area.
The current large-scale exhibition, held in the year of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the poet Magtymguly Fragi, who dreamed of creating a sovereign state, a happy era, and a great revival, demonstrates the growing power of the national economy, the prosperity of the country and the abundance of our markets.
Inspired by the wisdom of our great personalities, Turkmen businessmen, through their creative activities, make a significant contribution to the socio-economic achievements of the country, boldly applying the latest scientific developments and best practices in all areas, and increase our competitiveness in world markets.
Dear members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs!
Having adopted the “Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2024”, we have set high goals for the development of sectors of the national economy, as well as regions of the country, for the commissioning of new enterprises, and the creation of thousands of new jobs. Among the priority tasks that need to be solved to achieve these goals, we have identified the further development of entrepreneurship, support for small and medium-sized businesses, as a result of which the increase in the share of the private sector in the economy is 71.4 percent.
This, in turn, is another evidence of the important role of the private sector in the growth of investment activity, the creation of modern enterprises, new industries, which is aimed at ensuring the abundance of the domestic market and increasing the country’s export potential, increasing employment.
Today, the activities of Turkmen businessmen in implementing state policy in the field of scientific and technological reforms, using the wide opportunities of the digital economy, developing industry, agriculture and the service sector in accordance with the requirements of the time are exemplary. Thanks to the conditions created by the state, they are consistently increasing the export of high-quality products produced at enterprises with modern technologies, capable of competing in foreign markets, and also achieving positive results in the development of international trade and economic partnerships.
By deepening public-private cooperation, introducing effective methods of economic management, and attaching great importance to the private sector, we will ensure further accelerated economic growth of the Fatherland, continue an active investment policy, strengthen the economic power of the country, systematically implementing measures aimed at improving the living conditions of our people.

Dear compatriots!
As I emphasized in my book “Ýaşlar – Watanyň daýanjy”, our people, Motherland, state,
National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi are sources of inspiration and incentive for further success.
Confidently accelerating the progress of the Fatherland, we will pay special attention to supporting youth business initiatives, improving market relations, creating a modern legal framework for the business environment, highly effective innovative reforms, and promoting the economic model of development of a new era.
I am firmly confident that our private entrepreneurs will continue to tirelessly promote the work begun in this direction and initiate large projects.
