The Ineos Grenadier SUV was tested at a depth of 1,3 kilometers

The successor to the legendary Land Rover Defender, the Ineos Grenadier SUV, is undergoing a series of severe tests, one of which was work in a salt mine at a depth of 1,3 kilometers.

The creators of the Grenadier are confident in its reliability, because it has already been tested in extreme conditions: at minus 35 degrees Celsius and at an altitude of 2500 meters above sea level.

The salt mine became a new challenge for the SUV. Here the equipment is exposed to an aggressive environment, which is why the Grenadier is equipped from the factory with underbody protection, including in the area of the gas tank, and has best-in-class corrosion resistance.

The car body is electrostatically painted, the cavities are waxed and the exterior is coated with a durable powder coat.

For extreme sports enthusiasts, Grenadier offers additional options: cross-axle differential locks, BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, a snorkel, external “unloading belts” and an additional battery.

In the UK, prices for the Ineos Grenadier start from 64 500 pounds sterling. Motor.ru reports this.
