On June 7, Turkmenistan will begin grain harvesting campaign

The grain harvest season begins in Turkmenistan.

In Ahal, Lebap and Mary velayats it will begin on June 7, and in Balkan and Dashoguz velayats – on June 14.

At the Government meeting held on May 31, the President of Turkmenistan, noting that a rich wheat harvest had been grown in the country’s fields this year, gave his blessing to begin the grain harvest campaign in these velayats.

Addressing the meeting participants, the President of Turkmenistan noted the dynamic development of the country’s agricultural sector, focusing on the fact that the state creates all conditions for farmers to grow high yields – it fully provides high-quality seeds, mineral fertilizers, chemicals, modern agricultural technology and water.

The President addressed the venerable elders with a request: according to the established good tradition, to start this important campaign with the words “Bismillah!”

The head of state wished the hardworking grain growers, farmers and all village workers good health, a happy life and great success in their work, TDH reports.
