The amount of currency transactions on the Turkmenistan exchange amounted to over $38 million
Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) recorded 21 trading transactions totaling more than 38 million 723 thousand US dollars, TDH reports.
International buyers from the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased diesel fuel, low-sulfur fuel oil, liquefied gas produced at the technological installations of the Turkmennebit Group of Companies, as well as table salt (Turkmenhimiya Group of Companies) for industrial use.
In addition, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products were sold for foreign currency. Domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene (Turkmennebit Group of Companies) and float glass for a total amount of 11 million 995 thousand manats for the domestic market.
