School Fairs Open in Turkmenistan

Traditional school fairs began operations on August 1st in Ashgabat, Arkadag city, and regional centers across the country. Mobile trade stalls offer a wide selection of stationery and school supplies, allowing parents and students to prepare for the new academic year, reports the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

For the new 2024/2025 academic year, enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan have produced classic models of school clothing. The assortment includes suits and ties for boys, green dresses and white aprons for girls, as well as takhya headwear - a symbol of Turkmen national clothing.

The first shoppers have already set out to buy new school uniforms. According to vendors, this year the highest demand is for sports suits, T-shirts, and caps with national symbols.

School bazaars will continue to operate until September 5th inclusive. Additionally, from August 19th to 22nd, Ashgabat will host the International Universal Exhibition-Fair "Kids Expo: Everything for Children," featuring products for children, schoolchildren, and students from Turkmen and foreign manufacturers.
