Innovative cape for charging electric vehicles presented in the USA
American company GoSun has developed a unique solution for electric car owners - the EV Solar Charger solar cape. This flexible solar panel system completely covers the car, protecting the interior from overheating and simultaneously charging the battery. The new product is already available for pre-order. The panels fold into a compact box and are installed on the roof of an electric car. When unfolded, they increase the solar energy collection area by six times, providing 50 km of charging per day.
The EV Solar Charger plugs directly into a charging port and can withstand strong winds. Sales are scheduled to begin in 2025.
The company plans to patent the device in the US and China: applications have already been submitted to the relevant authorities of these countries and are currently under consideration.
