Audi is preparing a new brand of electric vehicles without the company logo

German automaker Audi is preparing for a radical change in its strategy in the world's largest auto market. The new range of electric vehicles, created together with Chinese partner SAIC, will completely abandon the famous four rings.

This decision is due to Audi’s desire to adapt to the specifics of the Chinese market and create a fresh, more youthful image of the brand, reports runews24.ru.

The first concepts of the new line, codenamed Purple, will be presented in November of this year.

By 2030, Audi plans to launch nine all-electric models developed on a joint platform with SAIC.
