Diesel Tank 400 certified in China
The diesel Tank 400 has received regulatory approval in China. The model, previously available exclusively with a hybrid power plant, will add a 2,4-liter diesel engine with 186 hp to the engine range. Auto.ru reports this.
According to preliminary data, the new engine will be coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission and will provide the SUV with an impressive torque of 480 Nm. Despite the engine change, the car's dimensions will remain virtually unchanged, but the diesel version will be much lighter than the hybrid.
The start of sales of the diesel Tank 400 is expected in the near future.
