In Turkmenistan, online registration for courses to obtain a driver’s license is available through the government services portal e.gov.tm. This service allows citizens to select the desired category of rights, fill out the necessary information and pay for training without leaving home. The recording is available in the “Unification of Driving Schools” section on the e.gov.tm portal.
Users can choose from five driving license categories: B, BC, C, D or E. Tuition fees vary depending on the category chosen and the length of the course. Payment is made using bank cards of the Altyn Asyr system:
B – 2.5 months – 140 hours – 580 TMT
B-C – 3.5 months – 200 hours – 748 TMT
C – 1.5 months – 116 hours 482 TMT
D – 2 months – 100 hours 440 TMT
E – 1.5 months – 60 hours 390 TMT.
To register for courses, you must provide a number of documents, including a copy of your passport, medical certificate and photographs. The portal offers the ability to download these documents electronically, which greatly simplifies the process: e.gov.tm/service/awtomekdep
