Volkswagen is incorporating a gaming platform into its electric cars

Volkswagen is taking a new step in entertainment for electric car owners. In cooperation with AirConsole, the company plans to launch in September a gaming platform available for popular models including Passat, Tiguan, Golf and Golf Estate. This is reported by techcult.ru.

The process of connecting to the gaming system is simple: owners only need to download the AirConsole app to the VW Active information center and scan a QR code to synchronize with a smartphone. It is important to note that the gaming functionality will only be available while the car is charging, ensuring safety while driving.

Volkswagen is not a pioneer in this field. BMW already integrated AirConsole into its cars a year ago, and Tesla went even further by providing access to the popular gaming platform Steam.
