The President of Turkmenistan summed up the socio-economic development of the country for 7 months
On August 30, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the digital system, at which the results of the country’s work for the first seven months of 2024 were summed up. The head of state noted the success of the programs being implemented and discussed with members of the Government key aspects of the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, TDH reports.
During the meeting, reports were heard from deputy prime ministers and heads of departments on the results of work in various sectors of the economy. Particular attention was paid to macroeconomic indicators, the development of industrial sectors and the country's foreign policy. President Seprdar Berdimuhamedov gave specific instructions for the further development of the national economy and preparation for upcoming events.
An important decision was the signing of the Resolution on the construction of the Shatlyk-1 gas compressor plant of the Turkmengaz state concern.
The President also focused on the upcoming Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, which will be celebrated on September 1. He emphasized the importance of developing the educational sector as a key factor in educating the younger generation.
