The President of Turkmenistan launched the cotton harvest season
During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 6, Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns and preparations for the upcoming cotton harvest season, TDH reports.
As noted, grain sowing has begun in the regions of the country, steps are being taken to carry out sowing in accordance with agrotechnical requirements and to provide producers with high-quality wheat seeds. Caring for the crops of potatoes, vegetables and other crops also continues.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave his blessing to the start of the “white” harvest in the velayats on September 11, turning to the honorary elders with a request to start the harvesting campaign with the words “Bismilla!”
The head of state wished cotton growers and all agricultural workers great success in their work.
