Hongqi will introduce two new products: hybrid crossover and updated sedan
Chinese automaker Hongqi will present two new models to the public on September 21. Automotive enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the premiere of the hybrid version of the HS3 crossover and the updated H5 sedan, Autohome reports.
Hongqi HS3 PHEV promises to be a real breakthrough in the hybrid crossover segment. The car is equipped with a hybrid power plant, which includes a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 169 horsepower and an electric motor. This combination provides an impressive power reserve of 1100 kilometers, while the crossover can travel up to 115 kilometers on pure electric traction.
The Hongqi H5 sedan will be available with three powertrain options to choose from: a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 169 horsepower, a more powerful 2.0-liter engine with 224 horsepower, and a hybrid version based on a 1.5-liter engine.
