BMW prepares to release the i3 Touring wagon

BMW is preparing to release a new electric station wagon i3 Touring. The model will be part of the eighth generation of the popular 3 series and will be built on the innovative Neue Klasse platform. The premiere of the new product is expected to take place in 2026, kolesa.ru reports.

The i3 Touring will feature a modern design inspired by the BMW i Vision Dee Concept and Vision Neue Klasse. Characteristic features include cameras instead of mirrors, recessed door handles and stylish lighting elements.

The eighth-generation BMW 3 Series will be presented with both traditional combustion engines and fully electric powertrains, which will receive a separate designation i3. It is worth noting that the i3 name is already used for an electric sedan sold exclusively on the Chinese market.
