The validity period of the project "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" was extended
The project "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" is extended until the end of the current year.
The corresponding agreement was signed between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the employees of the United Nations Development Programme in Turkmenistan.
According to the amendments made, the implementation of the project will involve the Ministry of Adalat of Turkmenistan, the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
Considering the need for additional time for the mentioned ministries to join the "Single Window" system and integrate with existing information systems, as well as for the quality implementation and operation of the system, the decision was made to extend the validity period of the Project Document until December 31, 2024.
The goal of the project is to ensure the effective implementation of the "Single Window" principle by simplifying and coordinating interdepartmental business processes, strengthening interactions between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the state authorities controlling import and export operations.
