A video conference was held between the French company “Arterail” and specialists from the “Turkmendemiryollary” agency
Yesterday, under the leadership of Jerome Garcia, founder and head of the Arterail company of the French Republic, a video conference was held between experts from this company and specialists from the Turkmendemiryollary agency.
During the meeting, Turkmen railway workers introduced French experts to issues of cooperation in the implementation of the country's railway infrastructure projects, modernization and electrification of the railway complex. French experts expressed interest in establishing a mutually beneficial partnership with the railway transport administration of Turkmenistan and intend to participate in existing projects and contribute to the development of the country's economy.
In turn, the Turkmen side invited a delegation from the Arterail company to come to our country in order to familiarize their French colleagues with Turkmenistan, the activities carried out in the field of railway transport, as well as discuss issues of development of cooperation.
Turkmen railway workers were asked to prepare a draft document for discussion of the Memorandum of Understanding on establishing Turkmen-French cooperation in the field of railway transport and send it through diplomatic channels for approval in the prescribed manner.
Also, the head and employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the French Republic attended this conference.
The meeting took place in a businesslike and active atmosphere based on traditional friendly relations.
