Great Wall presented the Souo motorcycle with a record 8-cylinder engine
The Great Wall Motors concern enters the motorcycle market with the new Souo brand and immediately surprises the world with the first motorcycle in history equipped with an 8-cylinder boxer engine.
The Souo's debut model is a massive cruiser designed for comfortable, long-distance travel. The 2-litre “boxer engine” is designed to provide smooth traction and a low center of gravity, while the 8-speed robotic gearbox and shaft drive ensure smooth shifting and reliability.
The Souo's appearance is designed in a retro style, which distinguishes it from its main competitor - the Honda Gold Wing. The motorcycle is already equipped from the factory with a comfortable passenger seat and three spacious trunks for luggage.
Technical characteristics, with the exception of dimensions (2660x950x1540 mm with a wheelbase of 1810 mm and a seat height of 740 mm), have not yet been disclosed. Auto.ru reports this.
