On September 24, a meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan will be held in Ashgabat
The Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan adopted a resolution on convening the next meeting of the country's highest representative body of power. The meeting will take place on September 24 in Ashgabat, at the Maslahat köşgi Palace. This is stated in the TDH message.
The purpose of the meeting is to ensure broad participation of representatives of the people in resolving important issues of state and public life, strengthening the unity and cohesion of society, as well as the further development of national democracy.
During the meeting, current issues of the socio-economic and political development of the country, as well as issues related to the implementation of long-term strategic development programs of Turkmenistan will be discussed.
To ensure a high level of organization of the meeting, a special organizing committee was created, which included representatives of various government bodies and public organizations.
The Halk Maslakhaty of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, in accordance with the established procedure, will submit to the Halk Maslakhaty Office, by September 1, 2024, a list of public representatives elected to the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan from the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.
The apparatus of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, together with the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, will provide organizational and methodological assistance to the velayat, etrap and city Halk Maslakhaty in the work related to the preparation and holding of the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan.
