The Agency "Turkmenavtoulaglary" achieved significant results in cargo transportation in the first half of the year
The Agency "Turkmenavtoulaglary" carried out effective work in the first half of this year. This indicates that the agency is making a worthy contribution to the harmonious development of Turkmenistan.
Thus, in the first half of the year, institutions under the agency transported 8 million 210 thousand 700 tons of cargo, and the overall plan was fulfilled by 101.7%. Compared to the corresponding period of 2023, this indicator means that 239,900 tons more cargo was transported, and the growth was 103%. In the same period last year, 7 million 970 thousand 800 tons of cargo were transported.
The cargo turnover amounted to 220 million 27 thousand ton-kilometers, and the plan in this area was fulfilled by 105.6%. This result is 6 million 322 thousand ton-kilometers more than in the corresponding period of last year. Thus, due to this alone, the growth was 103%. In the same period last year, this figure was 213 million 705 thousand ton-kilometers.
