Nissan Qashqai continues to surprise with its extreme stunts

Within the framework of an unusual advertising campaign, Nissan's European division set a record officially recorded in the Guinness World Records. A Qashqai crossover with a stuntman inside made a breathtaking jump from a height of 65 meters on a giant bungee, setting a record in the category of “highest automobile bungee jumping”, auto.ru reports.

To carry out this daring stunt, a unique metal structure with a folding bottom was developed. This platform permitted the car to be placed horizontally during loading and lifting, and then lowered for the jump. The Qashqai was lifted with the help of a powerful construction crane, and the signal to start the jump was given by French stuntman Laurent Lascaux, who was behind the wheel.

The extreme event took place in the capital of France - Paris. The footage will be the basis for a new commercial for Nissan Qashqai.

It is worth noting that this is not the first unusual demonstration of Qashqai's capabilities - the car has previously been shown riding a giant skateboard and participating in a paintball game.
