A meeting of the Turkmen-Kazakh working commission on cargo transportation will be held in Ashgabat

The first meeting of representatives of the Turkmen-Kazakh working commission on cargo transportation and logistics will be held in Ashgabat on November 26. Director of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, Mammetkhan Chakyev, reported on the upcoming event during the regular meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties will discuss the prospects for using international transport and logistics corridors passing through the territory of the two neighboring republics. The meeting participants also intend to agree on the implementation of joint projects in this area. The agenda will include the creation and development of logistics centers, pricing policy and ensuring transport security.

Focusing on the role of this Joint Turkmen-Kazakh Working Commission, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the head of the Agency to properly prepare for the upcoming meeting.
