The cotton harvest season started in Turkmenistan on September 9, reports the MIC of Turkmenistan. With the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan, elders started the cotton harvest in the fields of Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayats. In 2023, cotton was planted on 580 thousand hectares. Collecting it in a short time and without loss is the main task of agricultural workers. This season, growers plan to harvest more than 1.2 million tons of cotton.
